The day has finally arrived, tonight The Florida State Seminoles led by Heisman winning Quarterback Jameis Winston take on the highly effective running game of The Auburn Tigers. The game which will be played at the legendary Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena CA and airs on ESPN begins at 8:30 EST.
The Seminoles were the early favorite and have remained that way, with oddsmakers deeming them a nearly 8 pt favorite, as well as most experts predicting the boys from Tallahassee to take the title home. If the Seminoles are victorious it would mark the first time in 7 years that a non SEC (South Eastern Conference) team has won the right to call themselves champ. This also marks the last year that the BCS will be decided using the current syste, next year college football moves to a brand new playoff system.
For Jameis Winston, winning this game would be the last step in what is easily one of the most incredible but also tumultuous and mentally trying individual seasons anyone has encountered in any sport.
