Stephen Curry has missed the majority of the NBA playoffs, but that could be about to change as soon as tonight.

The two-time reigning regular season MVP–the league is expected to announce Curry’s second straight MVP award this week, and it could be a unanimous decision for the first time ever–went down with a sprained right knee during the Warriors first round series with the Rockets, but Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and company have carried the team well, and they currently hold a 2-1 lead over the Blazers in their Western Conference Semifinal rumble with Portland.

That being said, if Damian Lillard and company show up in a big way tonight and wills Portland to victory, the Warriors will be looking a 2-2 series in the face with a very resilient and scrappy Blazers team, the team that gave them their worst loss of the regular season, in which Stephen Curry was as healthy as ever. Naturally, the Warriors would like to have their leader on deck to help prevent that from happening.

Earlier today, head coach Steve Kerr upgraded Curry from “doubtful” to “questionable” for tonight’s match-up, which suggested that Curry’s recovery process was occurring without speed bumps. Furthermore, as many suspected would be the case, Curry was upgraded to “active” for tonight’s game just a short while before tip-off by Kerr himself, at a pre-game press conference.

Splash Brothers back? We’ll see tonight.
