In the early 2000’s, the pairing of Cam’ron and Juelz Santana was one of the most dangerous one-two punches in rap. Though they were just a portion of a larger sum, the once-dominant Diplomats gauntlet, Cam and Juelz teamed up for several classic records and hits, including two Billboard Hot 100 top 5 hits in 2002, and dozens more that can be recited verbatim by even the casual rap fan.

Since their heyday, their relationship has been called into question several times–even by their peers–but in recent years lingering tension has subsided and the two rappers have begun collaborating again. In 2014, they teamed up for what was hailed as another Dipset comeback, “Dipsh*ts,” and Cam, Juelz and the third primary member of the group, Jim Jones, joined forces for a marquee performance at the Barclays Center as part of our inaugural Source360 weekend.

In 2016, Cam and Juelz are back at it again with a new release, “Oh Yeah.” If you think it could potentially be reminiscent of their 2002 hit “Oh Boy,” you’re right, as Cam leads the way and Juelz brings in the rear over a soul sample that wails “Oh yeah” through the chorus and verses. Listen to it below.
