Fat Joe and Remy Ma‘s “All The Way Up” has been a catalyst for the rebirth of three things: Joe’s career, Remy’s career, and the quintessential New York summer anthem. In past years, NY rappers like A$AP Ferg, French Montana, Fabolous and more have shone bright during the scorching months, but their campaigns didn’t feel as magnanimous as this one. Remy Ma, less than 2 years removed from a prison stint, and Fat Joe, who has deftly avoided the potential pitfalls of beefing with some of the region’s biggest stars and reunited with his rap soulmate, have, to be cliché, “restored the feeling,” and they’re taking it to another level tonight.

Earlier this year, rumors began to swirl that Jay Z could be featured on a remix to “All The Way Up,” but they were largely unsubstantiated. After all in the public eye, Joe and Hov were perceived to still be somewhat embroiled in a riff of sorts, stemming from a longstanding “beef,” as Fat Joe once described it, between his Terror Squad crew and Jay’s Roc-A-Fella camp.

However, backstage at the Los Angeles stop of Beyonce‘s Formation World Tour earlier this month, Fat Joe and Jay Z were photographed posing together, which sent shockwaves through the rap world, and rightfully so. Right around the time these remix rumors begin to swirl, Joey Crack and Hov settle their differences? Say it ain’t so.

Well, it is so. Believe it or not, the “All The Way Up” remix is here, and it features none other than Shawn Carter. You can stream it, courtesy of TIDAL, below.
