On Monday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder got their hearts broken by the Golden State Warriors, who overcame a 3-1 series deficit to send Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and company off to an early vacation. This of course will be a pivotal summer for both the team and KD; Durant will have to decide whether he’ll resign with the team that drafted him or take a chance at becoming the man in Boston or Washington. He’ll also likely have the option of joining Golden State’s “death” lineup, or forming one of the most daunting frontcourts of the modern league in San Antonio.
Until the end of the season, however, he’ll have the unenviable task of dealing with seeing LeBron James and Steph Curry come out on top once again, as they battle it out in what will surely be a contentious NBA Finals matchup. So, Young Thug has come to the rescue with consolation prizes. On the Atlanta rapper’s Snapchat, he can be seen offering up several glittering diamond rings to the Thunder squad since they weren’t able to reach the promised land this time around. Hopefully Thug first gave some of those to his hometown Hawks, who were mercilessly swept out of the playoffs this year by the Cavs for the second consecutive season.
Such a nice guy that Thugger.
