For many years, Netflix users and abusers have been begging the on-demand film and TV show streaming service to give up the Disney goods. It’s no secret that Netflix has a regular rotation of new and old movies being shuffled through their menus, but customers have complained in recent years about the selections. Where’s the marquee stuff?
Prayers have been answered today, as Netflix announces that it will be streaming every Disney movie ever, beginning this fall. That’s right, from Toy Story and Aladdin to Mulan and Finding Nemo. It’s all coming to that red screen with the white letters. From E!:
Starting this September, Netflix will be the exclusive home of every single Disney movie (for paid subscriptions, that is). Yes, you read that right, every single Disney movie. That means all of Marvel, all of Pixar, all of Lucasfilm. And of course, all of our favorite traditional Disney characters we love so much. This is going to be the first time that this library of movies is going to a non-cable entity, so it’s a pretty big deal for the industry in addition to being a big deal for the fans.
Get ready Buzz Lightyear fans.
