After the release of his 2013 mixtape, INNANETTAPE, Vic Mensa blossomed into quite the major artist. After receiving co-signs from Kanye West and performing on Saturday Night Live, the Chicago emcee inked a deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation label, dropped a couple singles featuring Kanye West and Skrillex, and is currently prepping his proper debut album, Traffic, due out in the coming months.
Considering it’s been nearly 3 years since his last solo project, however, this news is certainly welcomed. Vic has released a brief new project, There’s Alot Going On, featuring guest vocals and contributions from Ty Dolla $ign and Save Money artist Smoko Ono. For now, you can stream the project on TIDAL, Spotify or Apple Music, but at 9 a.m. ET, you’ll be able to access a free download of the project by checking out Vic’s Respect My Vote campaign.
In less than half-an-hour, just head over to Respect My Vote, and take the pledge to hit the polls this November and make sure you’re actively affecting the trajectory of your society. After that, you’ll be able to have TAGO for your collection, courtesy of RMV’s newest spokesperson, Mr. Vic Mensa.
