Vic Mensa released his emotionally and socially charged There’s Alot Going On EP this past Friday, and it was book-ended by two of the most personal cuts on the project. The closing title track, “There’s Alot Going On,” finds Vic chronicling–painfully, at times–the road he took from being the Kids These Days front-man to signing with Roc Nation and hurting both people close to him and himself in the process.
The song’s content is accurately reflected in its title, and Vic’s accompanying music video is certainly interesting. It’s as if by looking back and acknowledging his tribulations, he’s freed himself for his journey’s next steps.
One of those next steps is his debut album, which the world is anticipating. Watch the video for “TAGO” above.
