Kimbo Slice, a ubiquitous and legendary boxer and mixed martial artist, has died today at the age of 42 due to apparent heart failure. Slice was rushed into a hospital earlier today and was believed to be in “dire” condition; the circumstances surrounding his critical status were not disclosed. The MMA fighter, born Kevin Ferguson, was a staple on the boxing and fighting scene in his heyday, which spanned from the late 90’s into the early 2010’s, when he first seriously pursued a boxing career.
