That perplexing sequence is what transpired on Twitter today after a hacker usurped the NFL’s handle and tweeted out that Roger Goodell was dead.
Reporters and media personnel quickly flocked to their own personal accounts to refute the contents of the tweet, mentioning that Goodell was working away from his office. Alive, but working.
