You’ve got to hand it to Stephen Curry. Even when he appears to take a loss, he somehow emerges the victor. In this case, he isn’t the only person that can claim a W from the situation. There may have never been this much attention surrounding the release of an Under Armour shoe, and the apparel company is likely basking in the hype.

Tonight, Stephen Curry will try to lead his short-handed Golden State Warriors to a Game 5 victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers at home in Oakland. If they are in fact able to do that, they’ll be the champions of the NBA for the second consecutive season, and for the second consecutive season, it will come at LeBron James‘ expense.

Yesterday, ahead of tonight’s showdown, Curry chose to remind everyone that the backlash his new Curry Two “Chef” sneakers suffered meant nothing to him. The MVP rocked the kicks to a media session, with a message, “Straight [flame emoji],” inscribed on the front of them.

Just imagine if he were to wear those tonight.
