Rihanna‘s wildly successful 2016 is continuing this summer overseas, as she makes the international stops of her ANTI World Tour. Last night, the trek found her in Dublin, Ireland, where the “Work” singer took the stage half-an-hour late–for undisclosed reasons–but came out with a bang, opening her set with “Stay,” one of the biggest hits from her 2012 album, Unapologetic. Shortly after, during her performance of her collaboration with Eminem, “Love the Way You Lie”–another monster hit–Rih Rih did something she almost never does during live performances: she began to cry.

Were there emotions that her performance of that particular song invoked that came to be too much? Did it have to do with the reason why she was late? No one was sure at the time, but there was no mistaking the fact that during that performance, Rihanna was quite overcome with feelings. She would later assure the crowd that it was merely the energy and love that she felt the Ireland crowd giving back to her on stage that made her eyes well up–“I only have ever in my life heard an audience of people scream so loud that they sound like one voice and that only happens in Ireland, in Dublin”–and the Bajan beauty bounced, twerked and sang her ass off for the rest of the performance in typical Bad Gal fashion.

For those fans in Dublin, however, this was no typical show, and they’ll likely remember it for the rest of their lives.

DUBLIN! The +50.000 of you got Rihanna in tears. ?? #ANTIWorldTour
