Tyler, the Creator’s recent debut fashion show in Los Angeles was a sold out event, with guests like Kanye West, Solange, YG and Kendall Jenner in attendance. The Golf Wang 2016 event was part comedy sketch, part skate park, part concert, with an Oprah-style giveaway and a song Tyler wrote for the night as the big finale.
Fresh off his fashion debut, Tyler decided to drop his remix of Zayn Malik‘s sensual track “Pillow Talk” via YouTube. He kicks things off by playing out some chords on his guitar, but as the song starts going off, he puts his guitar aside and confidently gets in the groove of things. On Twitter, Tyler explained to his followers the remix was made back in March and he created the video because he didn’t have any artwork for it.
Tyler first reached out to Zayn to collaborate back in 2015, but according to a tweet posted by the Gang Wolf leader yesterday, the former One Direction singer “stood him up twice.” Tyler also goes on to encourage his fans to listen to the remix before it gets taken down. Even though this isn’t a mixed version, it’s still worth listening to.
