It’s really a tough time to be an Oklahoma City Thunder fan. Like, really, really tough.
Last week, Kevin Durant announced that he’s leaving for Golden State. This week, Russell Westbrook trade rumors, specifically involving the Celtics, have swirled like tornados. Now, Andre Iguodala, who was instrumental in the Warriors epic comeback from being down 3-1 agains the Thunder in the Western Conference Finals, is telling radio shows that OKC should have won the championship.
Iguodala was a guest on a recent episode of Charlamagne the God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy‘s The Breakfast Club morning show on Power 105.1, when the topic of the Warriors’ valiant effort to advance to the NBA Finals was brought up. Iguodala is one of the more easygoing and politically correct players in the league, but even he couldn’t help but iterate that Oklahoma City was the best team in the playoffs, and that the Warriors really shouldn’t have advanced.

Not only did Iguodala say the Thunder should’ve beat them, he says they played the Warriors better than Cleveland, who flipped the script on the Warriors and came back from a 3-1 deficit in the Finals to win the franchise’s first championship.
So, Andre, to recap. You beat a team that you’re adamant should’ve beat you, and then you swiped their best player from them, ending their chances at returning to that stage for the foreseeable future. Golden State is Game of Thrones with it.
