Cousin Stizz should be on you radar if he isn’t, and he’s gifted everyone a fresh opportunity to pull him out of their peripheral and into focus with the release of his newest mixtape, MONDA.
MONDA is Stizz’s second full-length project, and the follow-up to Suffolk County, the 2015 mixtape that helped put the Massachusetts native on the map. For those of you unaware of his sudden ascent, here’s a refresher course. Stizz dropped a song called “Shoutout” in 2014 that became an underground hit. So much so that of all songs, Drake chose it to soundtrack his birthday party at Dave & Busters in New York in 2014.
That gave Stizz somewhat of a claim to fame, but it wasn’t his only one. It wasn’t long before he was selling out shows across the nation, drawing the praise of guys like Chance The Rapper and the attention of record labels everywhere.
For now, Stizz is likely focused on the success of his freshly-released project, as much as we should be focused on consuming it, which you can do below, courtesy of Soundcloud.
