This week, Taylor Swift revealed she actually co-wrote ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s smash “This Is What You Came For.”

TMZ broke the scoop stating:

During their relationship, Taylor wrote the song, sat down at a piano and did a demo into her iPhone. She sent it to Calvin, who loved it. They both went into a studio and did a full demo with Taylor on vocals and Calvin doing the beat.

They both knew the song would be a hit, but Taylor wrote it for Calvin and both agreed it was a bad idea to let the world know they collaborated as a couple … it would overshadow the song.

So Taylor, who kept the publishing rights, used the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg on the credits.

Taylor’s team confirmed that TMZ‘s story is in fact true. People wrote, “After recording a full demo, they agreed to keep the collaboration on the down-low, but Swift was hurt after Harris did an interview and said he couldn’t foresee working with his then-girlfriend in the future.”

Apparently, Harris telling Ryan Seacrest that they had no plans to work together hurt her feelings and was one of the reasons for their break up.

 Harris responded on twitter:
Rihanna made no comment. We would imagine, she is fine as long as she gets her royalty check!
