ScHoolboy Q‘s Blank Face LP made an impressive debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 this week, missing the chance to dethrone Drake‘s perennial Views by a slim margin of about 11,000 units. Still, Q remains one of the hottest artists in the game, and he looks to continue that streak this week with the release of the music video for a BFLP standout, the gritty-yet-soulful “JoHn Muir,” featuring uncredited vocals from Roc Nation vocalist/songwriter Sam Dew.

Prior to the release of Blank Face LP, SBQ gifted fans with a unique trailer for the album, featuring fiction footage of the Figg Side rapper’s travels from a passenger seat angle. In hindsight, that trailer doubled as a tease for the “JoHn Muir” video, which is a clear expansion of that concept.
