DC Comics has had a tough go in the cinematic realm. Besides Christopher Nolan‘s “Dark Knight” series, DC has seen bomb after bomb when it comes to bringing its beloved superheroes to the big screen. Even what seemed to be a box-office smash, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which brought two (three including Wonder Woman) of the world’s most beloved superheroes to the silver screen, was largely panned by critics and movie-goers alike.

Well DC is back at it again, with their upcoming film Justice League. The film will reportedly bring even more superheroes to the big screen at once, akin to Marvel’s famed Avengers series, and hopefully come to the rescue of DC movie woes. The first trailer for the film premiere yesterday at San Diego’s Comic-Con 2016—and it looks damn good.

Justice League will bring together Ben Affleck reprising his BvS role as “Bruce Wayne/Batman”, Gal Gadot returning as “Diana Prince/Wonder Woman”, as well as newcomers to the DC Universe, Jason Mamoa (Game of Thrones) as “Arthur Curry/Aquaman”, Ezra Miller (Trainwreck, The Stanford Prison Experimentas “Barry Allen/The Flash” and Ray Fisher as “Victor Stone/Cyborg”. It’s also rumored that Henry Cavil will return to play the Man of Steel “Clark Kent/ Superman” though he’s not seen in the trailer and J.K. Simmons will join the fray as “Commissioner Gordon”.

Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.
