Katt Williams has managed to stay below that radar following his many arrests earlier this year—but the comedian is making headlines again for the same reason.
Williams was arrested for misdemeanor battery on Sunday morning after being accused of punching a woman. According to reports, cops responded to a call from the Sportsmen’s Lodge restaurant in Sherman Oaks after an employee alleged Katt had attacked her.
When law enforcement arrived on the scene, they noticed visible minor injuries on the woman and she requested Williams be arrested for battery. The funny man was released after posting bail set at $20,000.
