The man who shot the video of Alton Sterling being shot to death by police has been fired from his job for posting the video on the internet.

Christopher LeDay was fired the day after he was arrested at his job on charges of assault and battery at Dobbins Air Force Base for posting the shooting death of the Baton Rouge man.

After 24 hours in custody without ever being formally charged or the police never producing a warrant, LeDay was finally charged with unpaid parking tickets and was immediately released after paying for the tickets.

LeDay attempted to return to work, however, was not allowed on the base due to “security clearance issues.”

Unfortunately, this is not the first time police have harassed those who have videotaped police killings. Ramsey Orta, who filmed Eric Garner’s chokehold death by police, was arrested at least five times after the killing.
