D.R.A.M., or Big Baby D.R.AM. as he’s referring to himself these days, is having quite a summer for the second consecutive year. Last summer, his Beyonce-approved “Cha Cha” became one of the biggest indie hits of the year, and helped him ink a deal with Atlantic Records. This year, after appearances on albums from The Social Experiment, Chance The Rapper, an efficient EP featuring fan-favorite “Caretaker” and a slew of other dope moves, the Virginia native has another hit on his hands with “Broccoli,” the bouncy Mary Jane anthem featuring Lil Yachty.
To further press his foot on the season’s neck, D.R.A.M.’s released a new Charlie Heat-produced cut, dedicated to the ladies, “Cute.” If you’ve ever wanted to ditch the complex, metaphoric woman-approaching methods in favor of something more blunt and straight-forward, this one’s for you.
