All week, the perceived drama between newly-minted Golden State Warrior Kevin Durant and his former Thunder teammate, Russell Westbrook, has intensified. Initially, there were reports that Westbrook’s style of play drove Durant out of Oklahoma City, which the former MVP denied. Then, there were rumors that Russell was pissed at Durant for not personally alerting him of his decision, which Russell has neither confirmed nor denied. In fact, we’ve heard from Durant, Billy Donovan, Thunder GM Sam Presti, other players around the league, Commissioner Adam Silver, Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller, Warriors GM Bob Myers, head coach Steve Kerr, Steph Curry, Andre Iguodala and several other people close to the situation, about the situation. We have yet to hear a peep out of Russell Westbrook since the July 4 bombshell.

That came to an end today, and though the “comments” are inconclusive, it gives you a vague idea of the kind of head space Westbrook’s been in since he became Oklahoma City’s lone superstar. A random Facebook user was near Westbrook, and in a selfie video, asked Russell what he ‘thought about Durant.’

End quote. Take it how you want, but we’re interpreting that as LOLOL I’M THE CAPTAIN NOW CAN’T WAIT TO DUNK ON HIS HEAD.

Or something like that.
