YG‘s having quite an underrated summer. His sophomore major label album, Still Brazy, spawned another hit with Drake, “Why You Always Hatin’?,” and what might be the overt political statement of the year in “FDT,” which stands for “F*ck Donald Trump” as we all now know. The Bompton rapper is also seeing success with his new merch collections, and is on a nationwide trek with Yo Gotti, G-Eazy and Logic, The Endless Summer Tour.
And there’s still more to come. YG, Drake and blazing newcomer Kamaiyah shot the music video for “Hatin’” in Los Angeles recently, and YG just dropped the remix to “FDT” featuring tour-mate G-Eazy and Macklemore. While we wait for all that to catch fire, check out the video for “Word is Bond” featuring Slim 400, in which YG, Slim and their crew hit the streets of Tokyo to deliver their message to the natives.
