Damn, Frank Ocean! Back at it again with the music teasing.
On Monday, the inscrutable singer updated his website, boysdontcry.co, by adding a new, Apple Music-hosted video livestream, leading fans to believe that after almost four years of waiting, there may finally be new music on the way. The stream came with no commentary whatsoever, although it occasionally had the muffled sounds of people speaking in the background. The video, which has a tag on it with the word “endless,” depicts a pair of workbenches—and gives no explanation to their meaning.
The post marks the first update to the website since the mysterious “date due” uploaded last month, suggesting the album was coming in July. Some are speculating that the video could be part of an art project by Francis Soriano, who wrote, “Video art project I directed is up and runnin,” in a since-deleted Instagram.
Mr. Ocean, are you toying with us or are you done with the album? Only time will tell.
