“They shot me on purpose”,

stated a 5 year old from his hospital bed after being wounded by gunshots from Baltimore Police that ultimately killed his mother, Korryn Gaines.

Gaines, 23, barricaded herself in her Randallstown, MD home Monday with a shotgun and her 5-year-old son. Police allege she had threatened officers. The police kicked in the door to Gaines’ residence and killed her, injuring her son during the melee. Watch his account of what happened to him and his mother on that fateful night below.

This tragic shooting comes on the heels of what seems to be the worst tension between the Black community and police departments around the country in recent history.
