Drake has enjoyed a record-setting 2016, but rumors suggest he has no plans to lift his foot off the pedal.

Aubrey’s fourth studio album, Views From the 6, debuted atop the Billboard 200 and repeated as champ eleven non-consecutive times, obliterating just about any run any other album has had this year. In addition, the album’s biggest hit, “One Dance,” reigned at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 15 non-consecutive weeks, a ridiculous record that puts him a week behind Mariah Carey and Boys II Men for most all-time.

Drizzy’s currently on a worldwide trek with Future, DVSN and Roy Woods, the Summer Sixteen Tour, but that may not hinder his production. He’s teased what appears to be a short film “featuring music from Views” on Instagram titled Please Forgive Me, and snippets of apparent unreleased music has surfaced on social media.

That video, originally a Snapchat clip, was taken in Detroit at Drake’s official Summer Sixteen after-party, where fans claim to have heard The Boy drop some new music. Recently, on an earlier SS16 tour stop, Drake announced that he was going to work on a mixtape, while producer Zaytoven recently confirmed the existence of a joint Drake and Gucci Mane EP.

There’s a lot of speculation going on, but if it all holds any value, we’ve yet to hear the last of 2016 Drake.
