The Miami Heat will host the Los Angeles Lakers tonight in a nationally televised game on TNT.  The University of Miami Hurricanes were in for a treat with everybody in town as they came to watch the Canes play conference rival, the Duke Blue Devils.  Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and James Jones were courtside and so was Kobe Bryant who threw up “the U” sign and broke the hearts of those who considered him an unofficial Duke alum.  Actual Duke alum Shane Battier was also in attendance.

Duke defeated Miami 67-46 led by Jabari Parker who had 17 points and 15 rebounds.  I’m sure the NBA stars in the building wanted to get a good look at the future lottery pick they’ll be facing very soon.
