Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has been the talk of the town since his unforgettable interview after winning the NFC Championship. In fact Sherman himself has been bigger news than the Seahawks heading to the Super Bowl. With that said Tampa Bay Bucs cornerback Darrelle Revis took the opportunity to express how he doesn’t approve of Sherman’s actions.
According to Rick Stroud Bucs beat writer for the Tampa Bay Times:
Bucs CB Darrelle Revis says Seahawks CB Richard Sherman put himself ahead of the team with his comments following the NFC Champiomship. ”I didn’t think it was good on his part,” Revis said. “If you listen to what the reporter asked him, it was nothing about him, it was about the team and he put himself ahead of the team. That’s what I took from it. Other than that, he’s an entertainer, everybody knows that. He talks. He probably talks in his sleep. He went on the other end and started talking about Michael Crabtree. I thought he shouldn’t have said all that.”
Now you may or may not remember that Sherman and Revis had beef not too long ago. The two had a tiff about who is the best corner in the league. At the time Revis was known as “Revis Island” and had the upperhand over the lesser-known Sherman but things have changed since then.
