Mike WoodsonThe New York Knicks have fallen way below expectations this year.  Sitting at 15-27 and the 11th spot in the Eastern Conference, the Knicks went from Eastern Conference Finals hopes to just hoping they even secure a playoff spot.

There’s been plenty of blame to pass around from J.R Smith’s on and off the court antics and lowered production, injuries to point guards Raymond Felton and Pablo Prigioni, Iman Shumpert dealing with trade rumors and the ever going will Carmelo Anthony leave saga.

One thing that’s been constant through the Knicks troubles is coach Mike Woodson.  His questionable rotations, rumored issues with certain players and his stubbornness to change Knicks defensive principles (switching) are among the issues many pointed out.  Today ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith said the Knicks will fire Woodson, according to his sources.
