Well, this is a pleasant surprise.
Not only did Usher release a new single “Rival” featuring Future, but he accompanied his new single with a visual. Utilizing his partnership with Jay Z’s streaming service, “Rival” is exclusively streaming on TIDAL.
In the video, Usher rides around his hometown of Atlanta before picking up Future and heading to the studio.
“I look in your eyes and I get higher/ There’s nothing in this world I hold tighter/ Without you, I feel uneven,” sings Usher. Future follows up his sentiments by rapping, “I put that on the Bible/ I’ma love you till my time comes.”
“Rival” will join singles like “No Limit” featuring Young Thug, “Missin You,” and “Crash” on Usher’s forthcoming album Hard II Love, which is due out September 16.
