Frank Ocean finally gave fans what they’ve been waiting for (for over four years) with the release of his album Blonde – now the singer is gearing up to bless us with another treat.
On Wednesday, songwriting credits and samples from Blonde surfaced, and reports revealed that Frank is prepping for a physical release of the album. According to reports, the singer is said to be seeking out a distribution deal for the album, (since exiting his deal with Def Jam and leaving behind Universal Music Group) that can take the album beyond its iTunes/Apple Music exclusive.
Sources say that Ocean is more likely to land a distribution partner that can cover both digital services and the thousands of music stores around the globe. Despite being dropped independently, Blonde has already sold 292,000 digitally, with nearly 124 million streams.
Because, the internet.
