Random Acts of kindness can never go unnoticed..
George Hill, the former Indiana Pacer Point Guard who was recently traded to the Utah Jazz was spending quality time with his family around Salt Lake City and ran into some homeless people who were wearing dirty garments, laying on towels and in need of food. The Jazz guard decided to buy everyone meals from Wendy’s, took pictures and also listened to some of their stories.
It is a blessing to see acts of kindness done in a variety of ways especially coming from a millionaire point guard in the NBA who could’ve most certainly continued on with his day instead of impacting a few lives with meals from wendy’s. Hill had no idea when the last time any of the group had a meal or the last time they were even greeted in a loving manner. He courageously took the time out of his busy schedule to cater to people in need and encourage them to stay positive.
This will most certainly make it easier on the people of Salt Lake City to welcome Hill to the Utah family as he was apart of the multi-team deal that included All-star PG Jeff Teague. George also shared the story on his instagram. Take a look at what he had to say about the experience below.
