Corner Store Magazine Launch Party & BET Hip Hop Awards After Party

Shawty Lo‘s sudden death shocked the entire world yesterday (September 21), and now fans are getting a chance to celebrate the late rapper.

Lo, who passed away on Wednesday after a car accident, had just laid his father to rest a couple of days before his own death. According to reports, a tribute concert is being planned for the Atlanta legend—it was originally scheduled to honor his father, who died of a heart attack earlier this month.

According to Shawty’s manager Johnnie Cabbell, the emcee was going to perform the new track he wrote for his dad, called “Letter To My Father,” (“L2MF”) during his return performance in Baltimore on Thursday following his dad’s funeral. But now the show will be dedicated to him. Beanie Sigel and Hot Boy Turk are set to take the stage.
