Nipsey Hussle came to D.C. and put on a spectacular show at the Howard Theatre. Nipsey Hussle even stated that the crowd at the Howard Theatre was the biggest crowd so far of the Crenshaw Tour.

The first act of the show started off with international rappers Slizzards Washington. This rap duo came out with a crazy energy and running up and down the stage as fans began to get into their performance. After them came the Virginia representative, Too Flyy, with a message to spread to the crowd. As a cancer survivor, Too Flyy’s single “Fuck Cancer” really got the crowd involved and chanting “Fuck Cancer!” Too Flyy closed out his performance with a great tribute to Doe B & Lil Snupe and played a song from each late rapper.

The third act was the young superstar from D.C., Lightshow. Lightshow came out with a crazy amount of energy and was right at home being in front of the D.C. crowd. Performing some stand out tracks from his latest mixtape and a freestyle for his intro, Lightshow left the crowd with a great energy and definitely had one of the best performances of the night. The fourth act, 360, also had a solid performance but encountered some beef with a person in the crowd. Erk Tha Jerk took up the last opening act and hyped the crowd up as they anxiously waited for Nipsey Hussle to come out.

Now it’s time for the main event. Nip7

Nipsey Hussle came out with the lights flashing and the whole crowd already singing every word to his song. Nipsey wasted no time taking the concert to another level by having DJ VIP drop his single “Checc Us Out” off the Crenshaw mixtape. Next up was Nipsey’s confident “U See Us.” Nipsey didn’t lose a stride and stood under the lights as the crowd yelled out “Bitch I’m the man, bitch I’m the man.” The crowd was so into “U See Us” that Nipsey had to run it back just for the fans. With the crowd going crazy and wanting more, Nipsey Hussle started taking requests for songs. The crowd had Nipsey perform some more recent hits and some older singles from the Marathon mixtape series including 7 Days A Week” & “Fly Crippin.” An acapella verse of I Need That came next followed by “Blue Laces and YG’s single You Broke. Before Nipsey Hussle left the stage he took it back to day one and had the whole Howard Theatre rocking as he performed his first hit single Hussle In The House. As Nipsey Hussle left the stage he promised fans that his debut album Victory Lap will be released this year. The Howard Theatre started to clear out but Nipsey wasn’t done yet. DJ VIP dropped the instrumental to “1 of 1″ and Nipsey Hussle came rushing back onto the stage to perform one last time. As the crowd got more and more into the song, Nipsey Hussle dove into the crowd!

All together, Nipsey Hussle had an excellent performance. All of his performances were full of the emotion and passion that’s heard in the recordings. With such a great discography, it was easy for Nipsey to keep the bangers coming one after another. If you haven’t yet you want to make sure you check out the Crenshaw Tour.  Check out some of the photos from the show after the jump.
