The Girl on The Train hits theaters tomorrow and we can’t wait to cop a squat, grab some popcorn, and tune in.
The highly anticipated thriller is based on Paula Hawkins’ bestselling novel of the same name and is sure to be all the suspense you need on a chilly Friday night. Starring The Huntsman: Winter’s War actress Emily Blunt, alongside Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, and more, The Girl on the Train tells the story of a recent divorcée by the name of Rachel (Blunt), who fantasizes about the “perfect” couple living nearby before becoming entangled in a mysterious missing persons investigation.
According to a recent promo, “Rachel is so unstable and so confused, that she herself could be a suspect” in the case. See below.
The Girl on the Train is a Dreamworks film from director Tate Taylor (The Help, Get on Up) and producer Marc Platt (Bridge of Spies, Into the Woods), and hits the big screen on Oct. 7. See more promo photos and the official trailer below.
We spy an epic plot twist.
