In honor of the s*** show aka the presidential debate of 2016 I nominate today National Lying Day (#NLD). I figure if the politicians get to treat the truth like they are allergic to it we should all get a pass on telling the truth minimally for a day.

Again, all politicians, across all party lines, show a penchant for making promises that they cannot or do not intend to keep. They flip flop on issues and at best lie as a form of self-preservation. This could easily be an indictment on where we have fallen to as a society, with their transgressions highlighted because of the public nature of their positions. READ MORE
