What does Beyoncé have to do with Hillary Clinton calling Donald Trump out for his disgusting comments against women? Nothing, but one Trump supporter tried her very best to tie the two together.
Betsy McCaughey, a former lieutenant governor of New York, sat for a CNN roundtable discussion led by Don Lemon and brought up rap music, then compared Beyoncé’s infamous “Red Lobster” lyrics to misogynistic rap lyrics, and then said it was hypocritical that Clinton idolized Bey but abhorred Trump’s 2005 statements to Billy Bush.
