For those living under a rock this past year, Drake has had an extremely successful year throughout 2016. His most recent project “VIEWS” continues to sell rapidly, and continues to break more records as time continues. “One Dance”, a VIEWS standout, is now the most streamed song in Spotify history.

This past May, Drizzy became the most streamed artist on Spotify (surpassing the likes of Justin Bieber), and last month it was announced that “One Dance” had more streams than any other record this summer. It has now hit 880 million streams, surpassing Major Lazer’s “Lean On” which racked up 526 million streams in total.

It’s no secret that Drake cashed out this year, however despite his success he continues to shine in the spotlight, shattering records left and right. Even though he recently had to cancel several tour dates due to an ankle injury, the Toronto native shows no signs of slowing down (even if he has to limp). Lets see how many more things he can accomplish as 2016 slowly comes to a close.
