Prince fans can rejoice. The legendary artist’s home, Paisley Park, is now a permanent museum.  Monday evening [October 24] the Chanhassen City Council unanimously voted to re-zone the 64,000 foot property that was Prince’s home and recording studio.

“Fans will have the unprecedented opportunity to experience first-hand what it was like for Prince to create, produce and perform inside this private sanctuary and remarkable production complex,” the property’s official website says.

In the past, fans had an opportunity to tour the property for a limited time. This was part of a temporary agreement with the city. According to CNN, guests toured recording and editing studios, they saw a massive sound stage on the property, as well as Prince’s private office. The fans were also escorted into in atrium filled with painted murals and Prince memorabilia. This comes on the heels of the memorable and successful Prince Tribute Concert that took place on October 13, 2016.
