Hall of Famer Magic Johnson didn’t mention Kobe Bryant in a tweet he sent out yesterday and people weren’t too happy about it.
The great ones Michael, Larry, Kareem, LeBron and now Kevin Durant can put their teams on their back and win!

Lakers and Kobe fans across Twitter were letting their frustration out on Magic for leaving out the five-time NBA Champion. No one truly understands why he would leave Kobe out of his list of great ones. Perhaps some shade thrown in Kobe’s direction?
Looking at Magic’s list, it is hard to argue with any of his selections. Kevin Durant is the only one on the list who has not won an NBA Championship yet, but he is currently giving us some “put the team on your back,” performances.
We did the math to make sure Magic had enough room to include another name (or two *cough* Shaquille O’Neal). He had an additional 31 characters to add in his tweet so what’s the deal?
Magic has a reputation for trolling the Lakers on Twitter and in the media. He was in the news this week for his comments on current Laker coach Mike D’Antoni. He certainly isn’t shy about voicing his opinions on the state of Lakers affairs.
Did Magic pull this Twitter stunt to get some reactions out of Lakers and Mamba fans? Or maybe he simply forgot to mention Kobe. Either way, it’s very odd for an ex-Laker to leave out someone like Kobe who has done so much for the franchise.
Magic gave his best attempt to clear the air with this tweet he sent out today.
The great ones Shaq, Kobe, Dr. J, Isiah, Duncan, Olajuwon, Barkley can put their team on their back and win!

Magic showed some effort by finally mentioning Kobe and some of the other NBA greats. But it still leaves us questioning how he really feels about Kobe Bryant.
