After pregnancy rumors pummeled through the media, Ciara and Russell Wilson confirmed the news via Instagram yesterday (Oct. 25) on the singer’s birthday. Ciara posted a photo of her, hubby and a growing baby bump captioned: “On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family. And I’m excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give…”
The 27-year-old quarterback posted the same black and white photo of the newlyweds, “The Greatest Blessing of All,” he wrote. “Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay.” He spoke very highly of his wife telling PEOPLE just how great of a mother CiCi is to baby Future. “She reads to him every night. I read to him too, and we just share so many special moments together. That’s what family is all about…Ultimately, it’s about giving back and loving as much as you can to your fullest. That’s what you’re able to do together.”
This is Wilson’s first child. The new edition to the family will be Ciara’s second, she already has a child — 2-year-old Future Zahir — from a previous relationship with rapper Future. Congrats to the Wilson’s and their expanding family.
