Azealia Banks took to Instagram to give her side of her most recent controversy. After her incident with Russell Crowe grabbed headlines last week, the Harlem MC is trying to convince fans and critics that she is not as crazy as the blogs make her seem.

Banks also fired back at MediaTakeout for reporting that she was pushing a skin-bleaching product for children.

Banks said “It’s not fair” that her every move has been torn apart for the past five years. She added that she’s been through a lot and that her heart and mind are heavy.

Banks added in a later post that the public has been way too hard on her in comparison to make artistes. She also asked, “When will you stop focusing on my flaws and post about my music?”
