Lil Wayne clears up Black Lives Matter comments…sort of.

We all cringed as we watched Lil Wayne’s Nightline interview as the New Orleans rapper admitted he had absolutely no connection to the Black Lives Matter movement. Wayne had viewers utterly confused when he said he didn’t care too much about Black Lives Matter and added that anyone who does is “crazy as s***.” Wayne even went as far as to saying , “My life matter, especially to my b****.”

Just hours after the rant, Wayne apologized for his comments. Wanye told TMZ he was upset by host Lindsay Davis’s questioning about his daughter. Davis asked Wayne if he would be offended if someone referred to his daughter as a b*** or a h** as he has called many women in his music.

“When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b**** and a h**, I got agitated,” he said. “From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses.”

He then followed up his explanation with an apology: “Apologies to anyone who was offended.”
