There have been numerous documentaries focusing on the deaths of Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G., but the latest project about the slain rappers is different from the rest.
According to reports, USA Network announced Unsolved, a new series about the police investigations behind the murders of Pac and Biggie. The show is penned by Suits writer Kyle Long and directed by Anthony Hemingway, the director and co-executive-producer of the Emmy Award-winning The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Greg Kading, former LAPD Detective and author of Murder Rap: The Untold Story of Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations, will be consulting on the script.
Decades after the untimely deaths of the hip-hop stars, their legacy continues to thrive. Along with the upcoming series, a Pac biopic, called All Eyez on Me, is set to hit theaters next year and another series about Biggie, called Think B.I.G., is being developed by TBS.
