Last night in New York City, the good folks over at Team Hennessy hosted a Privileged Toast to Angela Yee for her contributions to hip-hop journalism during 20 years in the industry.

The radio host has been working in the game for a long time now, and has dabbled in everything from helping Eminem launch his clothing line, to hosting the morning show for Shade 45, to being the first female host on the satellite network with her night show Lip Service, to breaking into NYC radio with The Breakfast Club.

Angela Yee is low-key a legend, and still going. Last night, Hennessy honored her work at their offices with a toast among friends, family and peers. Mike Kyser, Lore’l, Karen Civil, Rae Holliday, Gab, Xilla Valentine and more sipped Hennessy VSOP cocktails and dined on small bites.
