Sixty-five-year-old Audrea Sanders had the Golden Towers Senior Living Center in Chicago Heights on lock, as far as cocaine sales go. Her operation was strengthened months earlier when elderly coke dealer Eddie Cain, 71, was busted at the Golden Towers. However, according to reports, the Golden Towers trap is wide open now, after Sanders last Monday on charges of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance on public housing property and possession of a controlled substance.

According to the Chicago Tribune:

Chicago Heights police arrested Sanders Monday evening after allegedly recovering scales and an undisclosed amount of cocaine during a warrant-based search of her apartment at the public housing property operated by the Housing Authority of Cook County, according to a department release. She is scheduled to return to court Dec. 5, according to Cook County Jail records.

In a related action, police arrested Jeffery Williams, 29, of the 1800 block of Vermont Avenue, Blue Island, who was subsequently charged with criminal trespass to state land. Williams accused of being in Sanders’ apartment when authorities searched the unit.

Sanders was formally charged in bond court last Wednesday, where her bail was set at $50,000.
