Nicki Minaj‘s sense of humor is a little different than most people’s.

The rap queen posts quirky, funny things to her social media to prove that she doesn’t take herself or life too serious — but her last upload crossed the line for many fans. Nicki posted a video of herself laughing at a woman on the streets of Miami, who appears to have a mental illness.

In the clip, the woman can be heard telling Nicki she “didn’t need her help” and asking her to “go away” as Nicki calls after her, laughing. Fans commented under the photo, letting it be known that her video was not cool. Some commenters claim that it’s well-known in South Beach that the woman in the video is mentally ill. One fan wrote, “She had enough money to get that women (sic) help…but she chose instead to humiliate them online.” Another commented, “You remember when you started out of nowhere you now tease people.”

But her fans weren’t the only ones outraged by the clip, the National Alliance on Mental Illness also spoke out, saying the clip is an invasion of the woman’s privacy, which dehumanizes her. The Alliance says they’re upset that Nicki used her fame to influence young people in a negative manner. The associations rep stated, “Nobody would make fun of a cancer patient, and mental illness is an illness like any other.”
