Perhaps new Washington Redskins head coach, Jay Gruden, is like his brother Jon; they like to stock up on quality quarterbacks. But after announcing that RG3 will be the Redskins starting QB, Gruden might not have that opportunity because backup QB, Kirk Cousins, rather not sit behind RG3 any longer and is open to being traded to a team where he can compete for the starting spot.

While Cousins won’t be eligible to be traded until mid-March, I’m pretty sure teams such as the Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders and the Cleveland Browns will be calling the Redskins now to get a jump on other quarterback-needy teams. Cousins has started four games and has appeared in eight contests overall during his two-year career, passing for 1,320 yards and 8 touchdowns with 10 interceptions.
