No matter what year it is (even if it’s 2016) great music was/will be made. With great music comes large scale world tours, where music’s hottest artists hit the road to mesmerize their adoring fans with grandiose global shows. The good folks over at PollStar have compiled a list of the top 100 world tours of 2016.

Beyonce 1

To be honest, Black/urban (if you wanna call it that) is not heavily represented on the chart. However, the rap/R&B/pop stars near and dear to “The Folks” made the cut. Beyonce, of course is at the top of the list with her “Lemonade” tour (through the Creative Artists Agency), coming second only to the iconic Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. Mrs. Carter grossed $256.2 million, selling 2,237,542 total (average of 48,642 tickets per show), at an average ticket price of $114.59.

Drake

Drake was the next listed at #11, with his “Summer Sixteen” tour (through William Morris Endeavor Entertainment [WME]), the top grossing rap tour last year. Drizzy grossed $84.3 million, selling 752,141 total tickets (19,793 per show), at $112.08 a pop.

rihanna

The Canadian crooner’s ex, Rihanna was next at #20, with her “Anti” tour (also through WME). Rih Rih sold a total of 609,347 tickets (12,153 tickets per,) at $85.63 a piece. The badass Bajan beauty grossed $61.4 million.

kanye west

Kanye West’s prematurely-ended “St. Pablo” tour (also through the Creative Artists Agency) came in at #29, grossing $52.8 million. Yeezus sold 609,347 tickets (a little over 19,000 per show), at $86.65 per ticket.

Also appearing on the list were Jennifer Lopez (#46), the legendary Lionel Richie (#50), Mariah Carey (#56), Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (#75), Salt-N- Pepa & Vanilla Ice’s “I Love The 90’s” tour (#79), Pitbull (#89) and Puffy’s “Bad Boy Reunion Tour” (#95).
