Mary J. Blige had a tough year after filing for divorce from her husband of 12 years, Kendu Isaacs.

But just seven months after her tumultuous breakup, MediaTakeOut reports that MJB has found love again with a younger man: Straight Outta Compton star Jason Mitchell. Mitchell and Blige met on the set of their new film Mudbound, which is showing at Sundance, and became friends when they started filming in May 2016.

Sources say the rumored couple grew closer over the summer after connecting at the ESSENCE Music Festival, but have largely kept their relationship under wraps as Blige’s divorce proceedings play out. The singer also recently celebrated her 46th birthday while at Sundance, and Mitchell was definitely in attendance.

You may recall that her split from Isaacs got messy last year after he requested a staggering $129,000 a month in spousal support, even though the couple had no children during their time together. As for Mitchell, his past isn’t squeaky clean, either. The star was accused of slamming a young woman to the ground in an altercation that reportedly sent her straight to the hospital.
